2019 Keynote

Traci Brown

Question: What do Lance Armstrong, Chris Christie and Vladimir Putin have in common? Answer: Traci Brown has revealed their secrets to the world

She’s told the world what they’re not saying. NBC, CBS and Fox have asked this body language expert to reveal secrets hidden in plain sight, and Brown can help your team reveal the secrets your clients are keeping from you that are impacting your bottom line.

Brown’s system landed her a lucrative product deal with Kevin Harrington from ABC’s hit show “Shark Tank,” and took her on a wild ride to the big-time consumer markets of TV shopping channels, infomercials and beyond.

In her fast-paced, interactive programs that are sure to entertain, Brown teaches high-performance persuasion that worked to get the deal with her Shark. You’ll be able to immediately use the same tools to create more success in your own organization and personal life so you see more zeroes (before the decimal) in your bank account.

Brown is a three-time U.S. collegiate cycling champion and former member of Team USA. Yeah, she’s fast on two wheels and looks pretty good in spandex.

Brown is the president of the National Speakers Association Denver Chapter and the author of three books, “Persuasion Point,” “Body Language Confidential” and “Body Language for Profits.” She holds a business degree from the University of Colorado and is a certified master practitioner of neurolinguistics, hypnosis and Hawaiian Huna.

2019 Education

Wednesday, March 4
3-4:15 p.m. | General Session

Presented by Alan Kleinfeld

This training not only assists meeting planners in learning what questions to ask themselves, their venues and their stakeholders to help keep attendees safer, but also offer takeaways to be put into action back at the office. From Band-Aids to bad guys, get an idea of the scope of planning it takes and why a safety mindset from the minute you begin to plan your event is valuable.

Tuesday, March 5
9-10:45 a.m. | Breakfast General Session

Presented by Dean Savoca

In the frenetic pace of our world today, Type A personalities thrive. But if you're frantic, distracted and overwhelmed instead of being grounded, focused and fulfilled, you may have reached a tipping point that can be counterproductive. You may have an outcome addiction—the "doing more gets you more" mindset, which can blind you to your own intuition and insight and inhibit your productivity.

11 a.m.-noon | General Session

Presented by Breeda Miller

Room setup, furniture options and other choices impact the experience and flow of your event. Brainstorm with colleagues and come away with fresh ideas in a fast-paced facilitated session.

Noon-1:15 p.m. | Lunch General Session

Presented by Shawna Suckow

It used to be easier to stand out when marketing your programs and your company in a field of competitors, but today it's more challenging. Join Shawna Suckow, CMP and former 20-year planner, as she shares the insider secrets on how you can market anything differently to stand out in a sea of sameness. Presented by Cabrin Kelly-Hale

3-4 p.m. | Education Breakout Round 2

Presented by Shawna Suckow

As planners, there are several things that have become habit for us when laying out the logistics for an upcoming event. Just because something has become a habit, though, doesn’t ensure it's the best solution for us, our stakeholders, or our audience. In this session, we’ll address outdated event practices that need to be forgotten because they no longer serve our participants. Come prepared to share, challenge norms, and leave old ideas behind!

Presented by Cabrin Kelly-Hale

Menu trends today are shifting from ingredient-based to entertainment-based. Mirror your attendees activities, overall lifestyle philosophies and quest for unique experiences. Create authentic moments as you partner with your chosen venue.
